1790  Interesting entire FROM GIBRALTAR addressed to Strathendry, Fife, showing both London and Edinburgh datestamps.  Letter mentions "...we are looking out impatiently for a Man of war to tell us if we are to have war, or peace..." and "...I must console myself, for being again lock'd  up, or beseiged, if the Dons are mad enough...
