1897  MELTHAM (MIA) (Under Huddersfield), Type B2, Parcel Post Label franked by a 9d Purple/Blue, SG 209, and 1½d Purple/Green, SG 198, tied by Huddersfield Rubber datestamps.  As the rate changed 1 June 1897, this is an "impossible" rate; it could be that the sub-office were "unaware" of the new rates and...

...therefore charged for a parcel weighing more than 5lb but not more than 6lb under the old rates - the charge should have been 8d!
