1835  Entire addressed to Richmond (North Yorkshire) with, in manuscript, "With a Parcel".  The letter has been sent from Lowrow, a distance of approximately 14 miles, thus avoiding the postage charge of 4d.  In 1960 the renowned postal historian Sydney Raine "turned" this letter and used  it as scrap paper to send a lettter to another postal historian, Francis Granville!
