..."I was taken prisoner on 19th July 1808...  I met a fellow citizen who handed me a Bill of Exchange of Five Hundred Francs which can only be cashed by relatives..."etc.  Illustrated Renollaud P 148.  A very scarce letter from Porchester P.O.W. Camp.
