1858  Envelope to Edinburgh franked by a 1d Rose-Red, SG 40, G-B, and tied by a very fine LONDON 'SHIP LETTER' IN RED, similar to Robs S35 but a very late use.  Robertson considered this to be either a Colonial Ship Letter or an Incoming Officer's letter.  The stamp is also tied by the manuscript '6' indicating further charges. Ex Robertson.  Very Unusual.  RARE AS A CANCELLATION.
