1807  PRESSED SAILOR'S LETTER FROM "'WM MUNN H.M.S. DICTATOR YARMOUTH" probably written for him by "Wm Hewitt Afterguard H.M.S. Dictator Yarmouth Roads", addressed to Charing, Kent and INCORRECTLY COUNTERSIGNED... 


...ON THE REVERSE BY "EDW CLYDE 1st Lt".  However, it was not surcharged as being "not according to the act".  Munn was attempting to buy himself out of the navy using part of a legacy due to him from his father's Will.  He mentions "...this is a shocking place to be made a prisoner...".
