Circa1637  Entire from SAXHAM written by Henry Croftes and addressed "For my ever much honored/Cosin Sr Roger Palmer Coferer/to his Ma'tie at Whitehall/these"; endorsed on the reverse "I pray send by Harrinson ye post who lyeth at ye Green Dragon...


...(Coffee House?) in Bishops Gat Street".  Harrinson was probably one of the 'Postmasters' responsible for furnishing horses to the Master of the Posts and for having duty of passing the Royal Mails to the next post.  There is more detail included with item.
